A car on fire near Chiverton Cross led to a call out for Truro's firefighters on Sunday morning.
One appliance was called to the scene, at around 11am, on the A390 in Truro towards Chiverton Cross.
A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival the crew found the fire had extinguished and the vehicle was on the side of the carriageway. The vehicle was made safe."
