Paramedics tended to two casualties yesterday afternoon following a crash on the A30 at Marazanvose which resulted in one car catching fire.
One fire engine from Truro and a wholetime officer were sent to the scene of a two vehicle collision at around 4.10pm, and used a dry powder extinguisher before making the scene safe.
A fire service spokesperson said: "There were no persons trapped inside the vehicles, however two casualties were placed in the care of the ambulance service."
