Work on the new Pendennis Shipyard non-tidal wet basin appears to be progressing well with completion expected during May.
When completed, the basin will accommodate super yachts before and after their time in the yard.
Built on the site of the old Falmouth docks gridiron, constructed in the 1870s, the new basin will allow Pendennis to work on yachts close to their existing facilities. Up until now the yachts have had to moor at the Port Pendennis Marina complex thus creating a logistical nightmare for the company moving men and equipment backwards and forwards.
The company continues to go from strength to strength and now has one of the world's leading custom super yacht build and refit facilities.
