A car on fire on the A390 at Union Hill in Truro yesterday evening was put out by firemen from Truro Fire Station.
Fire crew in one engine were called to the blaze at around 7.30pm and found the car well alight, before using breathing apparatus and two hosereels to extinguish the flames.
A fire service spokesperson called the fire "accidental and confined."
