You could argue it's a bit wild down west of the Lizard Peninsula - but Ruan Minor's theatre group is taking things to a whole new level.
The latest offering from the Ruan Revellers will transform the village hall into a gun-slingers' saloon for Bad Day at Black Frog Creek.
It was first performed in the village back in 1992, but just like a fine Wild Western whisky it has matured with age into a vintage production.
Anyone who wanders into the village over the next few weeks should not be surprised to see the men with a swagger and the women raising their skirts to reveal the odd garter or two, as they get into character for performances between Wednesday, February 17 and Saturday, February 20.
From 7.30pm each night the village hall will become Diamond Tooth Lill's saloon, complete with plenty of cowboys and bar girls.
Sheila Collins plays Lill herself, while Brian Jenkins transforms into Filthy Frank who, together with his dog, has not had a bath for a very long time. Audience members are encouraged to bring scented hankies and smelling salts just in case they get a whiff of the stinking scoundrel.
Tickets for this light-hearted production, directed by Angela Agutter Thomas with musical direction from Robin Bates, are available from the village shop and post office costing £5 for adults and £3 for children.
The Ruan Revellers was formed in 2014 by Mrs Agutter Thomas and since then has enjoyed sell-out shows, beginning with the pantomime Aladdin and continuing with a series of one-act plays.
