Mebyon Kernow members will be holding their spring conference on Saturday, April 2 at Lys Kernow, New County Hall, in Truro.
MK members will be debating its official position on the EU referendum and senior spokespeople will be updating supporters on a range of MK campaigns. These will include feedback on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, MK’s opposition to the proposed "Devonwall" parliamentary seat and MK’s support for greater local control over planning.
During the half day conference, party members will also be looking ahead to the 2017 council election, and a new updated policy document setting out the case for greater self-government for Cornwall, titled Towards a National Assembly of Cornwall, will be launched at the event.
Party leader Cllr Dick Cole said: “Anyone interested in finding out more about MK and our ongoing campaigns would be very welcome to attend the spring conference, where free copies of Towards a National Assembly of Cornwall will be available.”
