The pilot of a light aircraft which crashed near St Agnes this afternoon has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The first call to the accident came into the fire brigade's critical control centre at 14:25 this afternoon.
Fire Service Resources were immediately dispatched. On arrival a light aircraft crash was discovered.
The aircraft had ended up upside down in a field near a garage. The pilot was the only person on board and was passed over to the care of the ambulance service.
Firefighters assisted to make the aircraft safe and to provide first aid to the single occupant of the aircraft who has been transferred to the care of the ambulance service.
No-one else was injured
