A CAR fire caused traffic disruption just outside Truro this morning.
The blaze happened on the B3284 westbound from The Meadows at Shortlanesend and the Tregavethan turn-off at Allet.
Five firefighters on one appliance from Truro attended a call to a car on fire which had been pulled into a layby.
The entire car was alight on arrival of the crews, who used one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
Paramedics attended the scene to treat one female suffering from smoke inhalation.
* Two appliances with a total of 10 firefighters also attended a call to a double decker bus on fire at Grampound.
The bus was well alight on crews' arrival, they used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
The incident, which affected a bus travelling from St Austell to Truro, was left in the care of Police and Highways.
