A casualty has been evacuated from Gweek Boatyard thanks to emergency services.
Coastguards, the air ambulance, firefighters and the ambulance service was called out yesterday afternoon, after a person suffered a "medical episode" onboard a house boat.
Volunteers with Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team were able to remove the casualty on a stretcher via a window and took them to a waiting ambulance, which transferred them to the air ambulance that had landed nearby.
A spokesperson said: "Also in attendance and assisting with evacuation were South West Ambulance Service Trust, Cornwall Fire and Rescue and Porthleven Coastguard Team - thank you to all for your assistance."
