Two car fires have broken out this lunchtime with one causing problems with visibility that is slowing down traffic.
Fire crews from St Dennis and Bodmin are currently on the A30 in the Highgate Hill area of Fraddon, where a car has burst into flames.
The blaze has been producing a large amount of thick black smoke, causing some visibility issues on the westbound road.
Traffic reports show heavy, queuing traffic in the area just before the junction with the A39 and Indian Queens.
Firefighters have been using two hose reel jets to put out the flames, with Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service asking people to avoid the area if they can.
Firefighters in the car park of Penryn Lidl work on the van
A van has also burst into flames in the car park of a supermarket between Falmouth and Penryn.
A fire crew could be seen outside the Lidl store at Ponsharden, working on a red VW van that had its bonnet up.
