The police have said that two teenagers who were reported missing in Cornwall at the weekend have been found safe and well.
An appeal was launched on Saturday to locate 15-year-old Katie Clementson from the St Austell area and Oliver Dunphy from Padstow, also 15 who were reported missing.
Katie had last been seen at around 8.30am on Friday, March 22 wearing her school uniform. However, at the time, the police said it was likely she would have changed into a different change of clothes.
Oliver had last been seen on the same date, at around 9.30am after telling people he was going for a walk.
On Saturday, Devon and Cornwall Police issued an appeal to members of the public to report any sightings of the teenagers to 999.
However, in a statement on Monday (March 25), police gave an update to say that both teenagers had been found, and thanked members of the public for their help.
A force spokesperson said: “Katie Clementson and Oliver Dunphy, both aged 15, were located safely in Plymouth on Sunday 24 March.
“Thank you for sharing our appeal.”
